The Battle of the Books took place at Watson Rd. Elementary School on April 20th. Our grade 3 team consisting of Denisa, Kalvin and Tanner, worked hard reading and studying the 9 books for this year's battle. This was their first ever battle. They battled against other schools from our district and finished 8th out of 12 teams. We are so proud of their hard work! Way to Go!!!

Lee Edward Fodi visited our school on Tuesday, April 11th. Mr. Fodi demonstrated how artwork inspires his writing process and he led students in an interactive drawing workshop, in which each student created either a creature or map.       Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success! Thanks to everyone for coming in and purchasing new books!! With all the money raised, we are able to get over $1000 worth of new books for our library!!! Thanks again everybody!!!!!
