Interested grade 6 students have started researching a bridge of their choice and will be creating an informational poster about their chosen bridge and then creating a replica of the bridge out of raw spaghetti noodles. Completed bridges will be on display in the Library.   Congratulations to our Battle of the Books teams! They competed yesterday against up to 15 other school teams from around our district.
The Grade 3/4 team consisting of Sean, Holland, Meara and Luke had to go into a tiebreaker to determine the winner and came out on top beating out North Glenmore Elementary to take first place! The Grade 5 team consisting of Leon, Lyla, Lily, Mathilda and Fiona fought hard and finished in 5th place overall. And the Grade 6 team consisting of Olivia, Kiera, Lilah and Milo dominated the competition scoring an unheard of 100%, answering all battle questions correctly to easily walk away with a first place finish!
